These textiles are beautifully designed and loom-strap woven by a family of indigenous women in Guatemala who are a part of our Bambuddha family. The ancestral techniques used are second to none. Numerous hours go into extracting the plant dyes, preparing the yarn for weaving, setting the structure and sitting down to weave. It is a phenomenal process.
These bags are perfect for running errands, grocery shopping, and a day on the town or at the beach. They are simple and elegant. Their design is very unique and makes for a great conversation piece. The seam is hand-sewn making for a special fine and detailed finish. These handmade and plant-dyed shoulder bags are strong, durable, and long-lasting.
