Bamboo Poncho

Handwoven, Naturally-Dyed.

These textiles are beautifully designed and loom-strap woven by a family of indigenous women in Guatemala who are a part of our Bambuddha family. The ancestral techniques used are second to none. Numerous hours go into extracting the plant dyes, preparing the yarn for weaving, setting the structure and sitting down to weave. It is a phenomenal process. 

The ponchos are warm and cozy, and yet lightweight. They rid themselves of dust and dirt easily by just giving them a shake. A great addition to take anywhere to cover you from a little extra chill.

Each piece is unique so there is only one of its kind.
